We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating and visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking.  We want your visit to Dalraida to be a great one!  So check out the info below so you will be as comfortable as possible.  Please let us know you are coming so we can make sure someone is there to meet you when you arrive.

When do you meet?

Sundays — We meet for Bible class at 9 AM and worship at 10 AM (we are not meeting on Sunday PM currently). Our worship usually lasts for about 60-75 minutes. We also come back and meet at 5 PM in our Fellowship Hall for different fellowship activities as a church that can include periods of worship and devotion, special studies, or other instructive times led by our elders.

Wednesdays — We have Bible class at 6:30 PM and a short devotional time together after class time in the auditorium.  We are usually done by 7:45 PM. During the summer months (June-August) we are having our Summer Series with guest speakers in the auditorium for adult classes (college-age+). Our children and teens are still meeting in their normal classes.

Where do I go?

Our church building is located at 3740 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama. Our building has several different entrances, and it does not matter which one you use.  We usually have plenty of parking spaces so that should not be an issue.  The two larger foyers are on the east and west sides of our building (the right and left sides as you come from Atlanta Highway).  The west foyer has a large overhang/drive-through entrance in case it is raining, and it is the closest entrance for most of our bible classes.

Regardless of what entrance you come in, hopefully, you will be greeted by one of our members and they can direct you toward the bible classrooms or the auditorium for worship.  

What about my kids?

We have bible classes for all ages, so we love for kids to come to Dalraida. If you come for Bible class, we will be glad to help show you where the kids go and get them into the right place. We have Bible classes for children of all ages on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. The older children (ages 4 years – 5th grade) have classes in our “Living Walls” wing off of the West Foyer. The younger children (cradle roll-3 years) have classes down the hallway leading to the college room. Any of our members can point you in the right direction or look for the signs.

During worship, we usually encourage our families to keep their children with us in worship so they can learn from our examples about what it means to worship God.  If you have young children that you may need to take out, we have a nursery area where you can take them during all services.
